Well so far I got the Mora Basic 511 in carbon steel, the companion in stainless steel and the Pro- Robust in carbon steel. And I just ordered the Kansbol dala red in stainless. I really like these knives.
You're supposed to give that virgin blade a drink of squirrel blood not your own.
My son just came back from Japan and he brought me this knife. Within minutes of opening the package, I sliced my finger and into the nail. Yep, always like to make sure they're sharp.

Hard to say what my singular favorite would be.I've had my OKC SpecPlus 8 for maybe 20 years.I use it in tandem with my Emerson Tomahawk to process firewood when backpacking.I just got a new BK3 and it feels & looks so "dang" GOOD for EDC.Upgraded carry system fits so snug with zero movement. The BEST sheath I've ever had.The new micarta handle looks & feels so much better than stock.New Hoback machete is THEE sharpest new blade I've ever received.New combat Tanto Katana was a must have for the price. (Pic isn't mine)

The Aus-6 steel does not inspire much confidence for edge retention. If it were D2 at the very least.... just dreaming
