Trigger install went well. I didn't glue in the plastic wedge - Ron's directions say you can, but I just set it in there and put the sear in place. On the 880, the "wedge" is not visible once the sear spring is installed. Back Roads did an install with photos on his 1977 and you can see some of the plastic wedge, wasn't the case on the 880 - the wedge is nestled up into the space where the flat spring would slide into. I haven't had a chance to shoot yet, just put it in tonight and I've got work this week so I may not be able to really give it a try until Friday possibly. Looking forward to it though, just working the trigger it does seem like an easier pull for sure. Tried to attach a photo directly to my post but it doesn't show up in the preview so I don't know if it will post.

I ordered 2 new elastomer springs from Daisy - they actually sent them to me for free, probably because of how cheap they are. I kind of felt bad that they paid for them but, oh well. Here's the old ES next to the new one - old one is probably the original from 1998 if I had to guess. Haven't been able to shoot since putting the scope on, but now that I have the new ES, Ron's trigger kit and a scope to zero in hopefully I can do some plinking this weekend and zero in my scope to see what I've got!

The 'elastomer spring" is the weakest link in the 880 chain.........
It will take set soon after initial installation/compression.

You can lead a man to water, but you can't keep him from urinating in it.
