Fox/Coyote Calls

This looks like a page some of you guys would like.

I am going to bag a fox that has been hanging out in the area.... figured some of the rabbit calls may help out.    I will keep you guys posted:

For fox I have had good luck with higher pitched calls like Bird in distress
like woodpeckers or mouse squeaks
they will come to a rabbit but if there are coyotes in the area you may call in a coyote which will scare the fox out
I have seen coyotes ignore bird in distress calls quite a few time but come running as soon as I switch over to rabbit or deer or something

Thanks for the pointers - I may have to look around for other calls!

If I see a coyote in the area - I am going to ****.    I don't believe there are any.... hope not lol.

Are you using an e-caller, or handcalls?

I need to send VarmintAl a higher-pitched call like my Magnum Sqweker, so he can record a sequence with it suitable for fox.  He made an great 16 minute track using my Excruciator call, but it might be a bit much for Fox.

if your using Ecaller let me know I think I have some sounds I can send ya
If not Check allpredatorcalls.com and look for Bird distress hand calls also if you get a Raccon squaller call they can make a decent high pitched sound great for fox
plus if ya wanna call coons from their den in the day Its a BLAST but beware they WILL charge   LOL

I just use my Ipod. 

I wish I had racoons around me... wonder if my cell phone's speaker phone is loud enough to get the desired reaction.

Is your ipod and Ipod touch?
if so there is a APP you can down load with all the sounds you need!
if it is  will get my ipod out and get the APP name
