James, the unit in the video looks different than the link you posted. Did you get the NVP10 as in the link you posted or the NV300?

It has a weaver scope base on the bottom so will fit any weaver/ pic rail. Tonights project is to mount it on a gun, I was thinking the Serpent, but it is still having issues

Yes it is there are 3 versions I picked the middle This is not an eyepiece mounted N/V.
 Mine would be #4 in the video, and I have a #5 on the way too. No I do not want fries with that LOL;)

 So to keep my mind off of my leaky snake  , I decided to try my luck at some cheap thrills. So I mounted the mini on the AF Talon and well one issue, the nice bolt they provide is a wee bit too large in diameter to go through the rail slot, eazee fix grab a smaller machine screw and nut with locking washer, all good. !


 Now let's see if it zeros , holds zero, remembers zero, and it does, but one has to be careful when using the zero buttons for other functions, zooming being the main one. I watch and count how many clicks the crosshair moves the click back accordingly.
 Another thing I discovered is if I choose to have no crosshairs, then switch back to crosshairs, it resets to optical zero, but it is only a click or 2 off from where I want it set at 8 power.


 I will see if I can find my mini sd card thingy and put some footage up.
 I was playing with it after I gave up hunting tonight waiting on the rest of the group to get back. I was looking out to 1/2 mile seems like the from point blank to150 yard range is it's best use

I have been using it after initial charge, for about an hour + so far the indicator has not budged. I am assuming at least 4 - 6 hours, one can do a backup battery pack like all the other N/V setups do.

I was shooting the .20 Talon SS and Day Night vision sight, messed with that until the battery ran out, IIR it was 2.5 hours on the video meter, Tuesday I get a micro card reader to check video of everything that was in view while it was on.
 I discovered that the zero changes with each magnification setting, it will remember the zero, but you have to go to the same mag setting you set your zero to, I like 10 , But it starts up on zero, that is ok if using it for large targets coming at you 
  I guess. I have another N/V coming by Christmas I hope I will give that its own thread.
