Benjamin 242 Pistol- Latest project

Just wanted to share my latest project.  Benjamin 242 pistol in .22.  Benjamin website says they were made from 1988- 92.  If anyone can shed some light on the serial number ID, I would appreciate it!

Nice pistol!!  I believe those were made in Racine after Benjamin bought out Sheridan.  Benjamin adopted the Sheridan design for the most part, and these pistols are superior to the old Benjamin 13x pistols, much more robust. Can't help with the serial #, I didnt see it anywhere.

Thanks!  Yea they are great shooters.  I have a few 132 models and they don't have the same power.  I have attached another pic with the serial# more visible.

According to catalogs, the Benjamin 242, 247 models were manufactured between 1988-1990. If the pistol serial numbers are consecutive with the rifles, then it is approximately 1989.
