So if I order a Titan is replacing the scope an absolute must?

Title says it all. I wont have the money to purchase a new scope after I order the gun itself so does the scope absolutely have to be replaced to get acceptable accuracy? I could switch it to a Gamo 4x, but Im assuming it wouldnt shoot any better with the Gamo scope then its stock 4x. Also what else is there to know about the Titan?
Thanks and sorry for all of the questions, I just want to get my facts straight before I order,

If the standard 4x is a Centerpoint scope, I doubt you'll see any difference. Not much help but I've shot the Gamo 4x before and it is pretty much equal to all inexpensive 4x scopes.

The scope sometimes gets damaged because of the double kick a air gun gives, the fast back and forth motion. The scope may hold up for you. Besides if within warranty Crosman will exchange it but you have to send it to them.
I rather like the 4x32 Centerpoint scope. To me it is clear and sharp and feel it is slightly more than 4X. I have been using them since they were Crosman scopes and are holding up under some heavy shooters. I would say NO you don't need to run out and get another scope.....

The titan scope is not that bad , it is clear and will do the job. I suppose some of us me included are older than dirt and we need a better glass to see with LOL!!!

I thought most peoples complaint w/ the stock scope was that is a non-AO and can cause parallax error @ close range.
If I get a Titan, I will definitely change the scope (if it's non-AO) to a AO version. I do a lot of shooting in the basement and a AO scope is a must for me

The Centerpoint scope that comes with the gun is a decent scope and certainly usable. I've have 4 of them and have not had any problem with them breaking from the recoil. I have had a Ruger and Gamo 4X break. You can adjust the parallax by loosening the front ring and moving the front lens in or out. I've done that on the Centerpoint 4X scopes I use to shoot indoors. Use it while it's in warranty and save up for a better AO scope. A leapers 3x9x32AO at Pyramyd is $45. I bought two of them recently and they are good ,solid, lightweight scopes.

The parallax of the CP 4x32 is about 30 yards as it is a airgun scope.

Don't you want a scope with more than 4 power on an air rifle?

Seems like a better value could be a Trail NP if one is going to purchase another scope right away for a Titan. (factoring in tax/ship/features)
