That's kinda what I was saying. Focus on the front sight, ignore the peep hole. I get it. My target area is in the shade. The .050 target aperture is too small and too dark for me to see the front sight well enough for me to concentrate on it. The .093 aperture solved that problem. Just wondering if the .125 aperture would be even better and if anyone uses that large of an aperture and if so, why?
Have you tried the standard 0.93" insert that does not have the Twilight's golden ring? When I got my Blue Streak, it had no insert with it. I ordered the 0.93" Twilight because the vendor did not stock the non-Twilight version.I found that in some light conditions, the golden ring was a distraction. So I ordered the standard one and a 0.05" target insert also. I can still see through the smaller hole but I prefer the 0.093"--without the Twilight treatment.BTW, I shot the gun first with no insert in the rear peep. Have you tried that?
