With the 460 in turmoil, I have a K98 idea...

...As noted in another thread, I'm navigating a 460 mystery.  In the past I switched my 460 trigger group with my K98 trigger group. I did this because the same issue that has since developed with the 460 is the same one that lead me to swap them a couple months ago.

Anywhoo, I got the idea to take the JM kit out of the 460 and put it in the K98, which is a heavier gun than I prefer to shoot standing and a heavier gun than I care to scope.  But... What about a red dot? Hmmm... The K98 fron sight is adjustable for elevation, so maybe it could serve as a cowitness for the red dot! 

Not at home but have it in my head to try a Kowitness98 red dot and see how it looks, handles, and performs for me with a lower power tune kit. I am also curious about report and have a rocker1 on hand if needed that looks good on the rifle with open sights, so might look good with red dot?
