State of the 367

This is rich -remember how a few people thought Crosman was holding back on the 367 because it might cannibalize sales of other guns like the 2100, Legacy, M4177, 1377, etc?

I emailed Crosman yesterday asking about it, I also suggested they might give it a brown stock to differentiate it and this was the response I got from customer service:

We had decided no to go forward with the gun as that was not a lot of interest or demand from our dealers.

Uhh... why would dealers have to ask Crosman to make it? It costs them almost nothing to produce as they already had all the parts, surely they’d have added sales.

Does everyone interested have to email Crosman? Too funny

I was probably more due the the fact that the sale of the company to Daisy was already in the works and they didn't see much reason to make them. Let daisy decide.

I don't know if this is help to you, but here's my 362 in an old crosman 114 stock, slendered up and  finished with TransTint Brown Mahogany dye, in denatured alcohol. A couple coats of Minwax antique oil to fill the thirsty pores and topcoated in Truoil. I took it out today to give it some sun, I sure do appreciate a nice wood stock.
TransTint makes a whole bunch of different dyes, there's some stunning colors out there

I should have got a 2nd 100 year 362 and converted it to .177 with Disco parts.

Thats crosman-speak for BassPro and walmart dont want to carry them. Same two groups that helped kill off the MAV77 TX200 clone, for many of the same reasons

Nicely done….I have no problem with the OEM stocks….but like your idea if had a extra stock on hand…good luck

Thanx, i really like it myself,  I'm a fan of elm. I have a second 114 stock to put my 362-25 in,  but fall chores need to be done first. That one will be a rich acornish brown.

The dealers don't know whats popular. Walmart probably killed Crosman by dropping pistols (2240, 1377, 1322) I think that's what put them in bad straits financially.
It's like that baseball movie "If you build it, they will come."
