I posted this in the "what did you shoot today" thread, but I'm seriously looking for some advice on a gun (and obviously just a little impatient
) If you have any suggestions/thoughts please let me know.

Early last week I had to grab a bag for the little woman. It was a long nylon bag I kept a couple of older guns in wrapped in cloth. I pulled out the two guns to and gave her the bag. Course I had to check what guns they were, cause I just couldn’t remember. An old Gamo 550 synthetic stock I had picked up for my daughter when she was young and my first air gun I picked up when I got into the hobby years ago. A Slavia/CZ 631. I had forgotten all about this gun and also forgot I had put a Williams Aperture site on it. So yesterday I was able to sped a little time with the CZ and I have to tell ya, what a great all day shooter this is. Easy to cock, incredibly accurate. Just over all a satisfying experience. I was sighting in on some paper targets and once sighted I switched over to my new favorite target. Plug here 😉 the <<https://shootingtargets7.com/products/reverse-know-your-limits-target>> A nice metal target that has large to small holes to shoot thru. I picked up the back plate that gives you a nice PING when you make it thru the hole. Very satisfying 😉
After shooting the CZ I was hankering to do some longer range scope shooting. I pulled out my modified QB 78 (converted to PCP) with a hole thumb stock. Shot it for a while, but thought how nice it would be to have a lower powered break barrel with a scope. (like the CZ) So I am now on the hunt for a low powered (less than 800 fps) ACCURATE rifle that I can scope up. Here’s where I could use some advice from you all. I started checking guns out, always fun and I “think” I have possibly settled on the R7. But would love to hear back from any of you on some alternatives. Basically looking for the above and any decent scope recommendations. The QB has a pretty cheap Tasco on it, but has served me well over the years. I thought about simply upgrading the scope and calling it a day in order to replace the “need” for the break barrel, but the pumping some days just gets old 😉
Thanks for reading and if you reply with some suggestions, thanks for that too.

The R7 is a good choice. I have one with a UTG Bug-Buster scope (its small) but mounted it with a UTG MNT-DWT145 dovetail to Picatinney/Weaver adapter with Picatinney 1" rings. The adapter is long but once I determined what I needed I hacksawed off the extra length and used some black acrylic paint on the bare metal. Good luck with your quest............
