For 2024, Airgun Detectives has a "Rare & Unusual Airgun Series" in which we feature uncommon and/or no longer manufactured airguns. We will showcase a different model airgun every month.  Today, we are showing the SIG Sauer P226 X5 and the X5 OPEN.  These are amazing Replicas which are 12-gram Co2 .177 Caliber BB pistols with "Full" Blowback.  We give you a close-up look and show you the performance.

I just love the X-FIVE!
The one model which started my co2 replica pistol "thing".
The slide cracked on my very first one - so I gained a good repertoir of spare parts. So I stripped and tuned a bit the old lower and some upper leftover parts..
Have a 2015 re-issue of the 4.5mm X5then a KWC P226 S5, and a 6mm airsoft version of it also.. And I for sure would love to get my hands on the X-FIVE Open, and the Silver-Wood X-FIVE with the adjustable rear sight (as my KWC P226 S5 has)..
