Mike Mileck is going to hot rod a QB78 as soon as he get's the new shipment . What are some thoughts on CO2 bulk filling ? I have unlimited cheap CO2 access not to mention a number of paintball tanks lying around. Any ideas?

I haven't had to mess with bulk filling co2 but if its anything like messing with paintball guns it should be a breeze..
I'm interested in this myself since I'm going to scratch build a co2 open sighted disco for stealthy backyard critter control

Matt, I have a number of QB's in different states of build and I love them. For one of the first, a Mike Melick build, I added a Mac1 co2 extension which helps with getting a good co2 charge. Sometimes they can be finicky to get a full co2 charge from a bulk container and I found with the extension not only did I get a full charge compared to the stock tube, I was able to also get a few more shots as well due to the extra volume. If I remember correctly, it ran somewhere around 30-40$ and for me was well worth the investment. You might touch base with Tim at Mac1 to see if he still carries them.
Here is a pic of the extension tube on my QB.

Bulk filling the issue tank is certainly an option...just need the bulk fill end cap (make sure Mike checks to see that it fits correctly..has been a chane in end caps), a co2 tank, and transfer lines.
I've done it with 20oz paintball tanks, or directly from 20 pound co2 tanks. OFten would run the bulk fill guns on a remote line (longer coiled line hooked to a large co2 tank) during tuning and testing....no need to be mobile during that time, so being hooked to the bench wasn't a problem.
Can check &^%$# site for some options.
To tell the truth, I went to either tankers or to 12gr., not really feeling the love of bulk filling...but it is certainly an option others seem to like just fine.

Jonny, my prob with the extension is that Mike is going be putting on a 12" carbon fiber shroud. Trying to keep the horsepower as quiet as possible.
