Cheap Pellets!

Hi all, it's been a while sense I have posted here. Today I went to an estate sale and picked up 22 cans of pellets cheap. The box is so heavy I have a hard time lifting it. The larger cans where $3.00 each and the smaller cans where #2.00 each. I should have plenty to shoot for a while. Are any of these really good compared to the others? All I know is I will have fun trying them out. Thanks

great find! Always nice to have a selection to try out in picky barrels. I don't have any .30 cal guns but you got some good pellets there.

I don't have any .30 ether. but they where so cheap I just grabbed them. I can't wait to try them in my old crosman's.

It's very interesting to see fairly recent if not currently available pellets having come from an estate sale.
Does this mean the deceased was an active airgunner in the past decade ?

From what I saw at the sale I would say yes. He had a small range set up in his back yard. But he was into all kinds of guns. It was packed full of all types of hand gun and rifle ammo as well. No firearms or air rifles. Just ammo of all types. I also bought 14 25lb bags of lead shot in different sizes.

Wonder what happened to the PB and airguns. I mean, if a family member wanted the guns, why not take the ammo for them.. especially the .30 cal and other higher end pellets?

 Maybe air guns out on consignment at the local gun shop, or found someone to sell them on ebay for them, raising money for deceased family....

I actually have not told you guys the whole story of what happened at that sale this morning. Well along with the pellets and lead shot. I grabbed a pioneer stereo and a nice larger meat grinder (I grind my own hamburger every month) So as I am checking out, a guy walked up and gave me $300.00 for the pioneer stereo plus he paid the price the estate company was asking for it. So I made $300 for just going to the sale. After that I paid for my stuff and I went home with $125 more in my pocket than I had when I got there! Basically everything I bought there was free. It was a fun sale.

 Yes I totally agree. But I have not used most of them before so it will be fun seeing which of my old rifles do well with them.

Dang, you must walk around with a horseshoe in your pocket! I went to the flea market today and bought a nice 140, but I had to pay for it myself, nobody volunteered with their wallet!
It's the one on the bottom. It still has all the paint on the trigger guard. Nice rifle.
BTW, those Senecas shoot good out of my hot rodded 1322 and my 2240 carbine.  They're thumpers

I was wondering about the Senecas, They are kind of rough looking, Like not very well made. The rest of the pellets look pretty good compared to those.

My akela liked the .177 senecas out to 60-70 yds, then they fell off. 

Would anybody be surprised if a bunch of airguns, guns, antiques, and furniture were bought by local retailers before the family scheduled an estate sale?

I've been shooting the 25 caliber Senecas, they're 35 grains, they shoot pretty good. At least as good as anything else I've tried. And they THUMP!
