Thank you! Who said anything about stopping? This is a Lego gun! Now I have to see how far I can take it!
I think a steel breech is the next step. I've got a 2240 XL breech but the screw spacing is wrong for the 3622 tube. However, I have a drill press and an example of the correct breech on my 362. I should be able to locate and drill the proper mounting hole in the 2240 breech.
Then performance mods!

Go for it! Many pics please.

Shot 30 pellets to say goodbye to the plastic breach and aired down. You inspired me. Then put the Crosman metal breach on. It was too late to shoot, so maybe this weekend. I have a CV Life scope to mount (if it still shoots, lol). I do not want to brag, but I can cross thread the lid on pellet tin. Oh, and what do you do with all the extra parts, 😂 . Seriously, it will be nice having it scoped.

I've been too busy preparing my garden for spring to do anymore work on my 3622. I'm pretty sure that if I run a dowel through the rear screw hole on the plastic breech and match that up with my 2240XL breech I can mark the spot to drill the correctly spaced mounting screw hole in the 2240XL breech. I may remove the steel breech from my 362 and use it as a jig for aligning the drill bit on the drill press properly for a little more precision.
