Pimp-Out your Gun(s)?

Here's my Diana 34P (bought from a respected forum member) which I wanted to dress up a little. (Silly, huh?) I have no major objection to a nice synthetic stock, but solid black looks a little too run of the mill for me on a good gun.

I pimp mine out by redoing the finish to all natural. The original finish was just too boring.

   I bought two Crosman Quests a .177 and a .22 a number of years ago when Gander Mt. put them on clearance for $69.  This one is 177 cal.  I pimped it up with a Gamo deluxe stock found for $35, a Charlie Gold trigger, metal rear sight and a JM spring/seal combo.  I like it much better than the cheap mystery wood it came with, and it is now one of the smoothest, most accurate air guns I have. The JM tune kit made a world of difference.

   You could also pimp it up with some red velvet spray stuff on the stock with glitter highlights.

Wood surface heavily Scotch bright pad scuffed up on a previous finish, or Epoxy or Blow sealing if a stock in the raw.
Rustoleum Textured rattle can paint ( Desert Beige if I recall correctly )
Week or better cure time in warm weather, then a Matt finish clear coat.

Sometime back I picked up a Hatsan 1kx stryker at a pawn shop for around $50. I wanted something to carry on the ATV for the trails and targets of opportunity. I chopped the barrel to around 9" and de tuned it to around 8 or 9 fpe and stuck it in a Webley VMX drab green stock.

 This is about as blingy as I get. Hatsan .25 125 stock made of scraps of plywood, painted black, then camo accents added with camo duct tape I have since swapped out the optics to battle sights, it's aptly named War Pig.

The older guns are my favorites, I'm going to start a project this Sunday, I'm converting two 766s to 2200s with a couple Crosman barrels and receivers from JG Airguns. A black one for me and a nickel one for my honey. Should be fun, it's the gun I wanted as a kid but never found
