Looks great. If it was me I wouldn’t change a thing. Just shoot it till your arm falls off.
I'm here huckleberry. Looks like a NEW or more recent version ... likely it will be just fine as is..25 cal tho not so sure, as the small valve area and lightish hammer used may not make the dwell required for power required.
Congratulations! Was that cavedwellers USFT!? Very cool either way! I think that will be spectacular in .20!!! I hope you update us if you get a .20 barrel mounted!

So I checked the AF .20 barrel I have here, and the O.D. is 15.88mm. That's just with a dial caliper, I'll hit it with a mic tomorrow. The barrel that's currently installed is 16mm almost exactly. Question: Does the breech have enough lee-way to be able to clamp down on a 15.88mm O.D. barrel? I was hoping to use the barrel I already have (modified of course), but I will buy a new blank from Lothar Walther if I need to.Also, from y'all's experience, polygonal or standard rifling? Choked or not? I'm doing a bunch of research on my end too, I just wanted to get y'all's opinions. Thanks again!

No owner’s manual? LolAnxious to find out how it shoots, can you post about that?

Purpose built custom gun. I would seriously doubt if you can modify anything to appreciably improve its performance, or durability. I would also think any modifications would affect its value. Others may disagree.

I just want to be sure...No, HVAC aluminum tape likely too thick & it easily tears. In the realm or "Scotch Tape" types you will find some ( Or even some HD packing tape ) that is a semi tear resistant film material. get the required thickness with a butt to butt wrap it can make up .005" or so +/- with great success.
Question about the factory thumb rest. My rifle didn't come with one, and I'd like to make/install one. Looking a pictures, it looks like the thumb rest simply uses the rear side screw on the trigger frame to secure it (albeit a longer one). Is this correct? Picture for reference:Can I just remove that rear screw? I'm worried it may secure something on the inside of the trigger frame, and I do NOT want to mess anything up. If I can remove that rear screw and use a longer one, I'll make a thumb rest this weekend...
