What pellet does the Notos like for most of you? I've tried about a dozen different ones and can't get better than about a 3/4" 5 shot group at 25 yards.

Mine shoots the 18.1 gr JSB pellet and also the CPHP pellets very accurately. It shoots most pellets good though not pellet picky at all.

That sounds about right. You may be expecting too much precision from this short barrel carbine, that was designed for hunting and plinking. A 3/4" spread at 25yd is good enough for a squirrel's head, so good enough for me to call it pesting accurate.

I do not think I ever shot any group with mine just many pest, 40 yards and under. Slugs and pellets.

Mine shoots all popular pellets very well. It REALLY likes the JTS 18.1 pellets. It also likes my cast 271 24 RF Magnum which makes me very happy.

I havent tried all brands (pellets) but CPUM,H$N,Norma all group similar at 30 yards 25 size hole… 6x scope..good luck

Just got in the Notos, all I can say is WOW.

Trigger needs work , super light weight very nice little squirrel getter.

40 yards using Norma 17.6 pellet yields a magazine full under a dime.

Little bit of work on the trigger and I have expectations of nearly hole size group.

Great deal for half again as much change.

Wow groups inside a dime @ 40 yards for $200! Impressive. What didn't you like about the trigger?

The triggers are kinda long pull, scratchy and heavy out of the box but they respond well to a bit of tweaking. Swap the spring for a lighter one, take the needle point off the trigger to sear pin and adjust it then do the normal polish and lube.
There are more detailed instructions in a couple threads here on the GTA. Google will help you find them.

U guys are artist…I cant imagine how bad a trigger would have to be for me to notice….I do occasionally employ the pen spring …I only got a 100 of them…lol….point shoot…thats my motto…good luck

A heavy, clunky or long pull trigger always distracts me from my shot concentration. I do give them a chance out of the box to see if it's just a new/different to me trigger that I might get used to. If I don't within the first 50 or so shots it's goes on my "needs attention" list.
My NOTOS still needs a little more tweaking to make it perfect for me. It's still a bit more heavy than I like but not at all like it was out of the box.

I backed the hammer spring off, and my trigger got lighter, I was going to polish it but that worked for me so far. Though I have guns that can make me a trigger snob, a few rehearsal shots get me in the grove for a particular trigger, sometimes it is harder to control a hair trigger.

I have an example of how u like your triggers…u may not remember but we traded back in the day and I got a fine C9 …took me a minute to get use to that hair trigger…..lol
