I just purchased one of these scopes to use for ratting in my suburban backyard. I currently use a hyscore model 808 that I got from my grandfather along with a nitecore torch on low power. It works fine but the torch scares all the rats away. Now, obviously the scope won't fit on the 60+yr old pellet gun. I have a RWS 94 in .177 that I was thinking of putting it on but it's a springer and I am wary. I called ATN and the customer service representative said it will not void the warranty, but he has never heard of anyone using it on an airgun. Thoughts? I don't want to destroy the scope!
Well, if the rep has never heard of anyone using it on an airgun then it must be ok to handle the recoil of a PB. But yeah, I get it, I'd be wary as well. If you plan on trying it, I would do it while it's under warranty.Just my opinion.
