45 yard shoot off - 22 cal Gamo Magnum, GR vs 22 cal. Hatsan 125

I had been wanting to do a side by side comparison between the two rifles for some time.
I set a couple of target boxes out at 45 yards.
The pellets were 22 cal Crosman Hollow Points.
I was standing and shooting semi-off hand with the rifles braced on the back door of my garage.
This was not my best shot groups but It was my best for today.
I took this shot at around 7 pm.
I got up at 5:30 am had a busy day today.
By the time I got around to do the shooting I was very tired.
I had cut three yards today with a push mower over at my daughter's place then came home and cut my place with a rider.
I also did extensive weed whipping today.
At 75 years old, I don't have the energy or steadiness I used to have.
I was a little shaky shooting and .....I was getting swarmed by mosquitoes to boot.
The nutritional shake box target was shot with the Hatsan 125.
The brown box with white paper was shot with the Gamo Magnum.
Both rifles are spring powered.
The Gamo Magnum was noticeably lighter in weight at about 2 1/2 lbs less than the Hatsan.
I have not shot these rifles in quite a while and both were set up for winter shooting.
Both rifles are on the hard side to cock but I can still cock them with my left hand.
Cocking force on these rifles is right around 50 lbs or so.
The shot group for the Gamo was right around 1 inch and the Hatsan was around 1 1/4 inches.
The Gamo was shooting a little high and the Hatsan was shooting a little to the left.
I plan on re-zeroing these rifles and doing this again.
Basically they were shooting about the same today, not much difference.
I took 5 shots on each target in rapid succession. ( as rapid as I could manage with these rifles )
The Gamo I bought new last December and the Hatsan is a lightly used 24 year olds rifle.

First thing I noticed was the (lack of) pellet choice. Are the Premier HP's the best pellet for both guns? That would be surprising.

My experience with Crosman Premiers in the tins is that they have the largest mix of actual head size of any pellet I've seen; literally all over the place. I personally wouldn't expect any accuracy from them.

The Crosman Pointed Hunting Pellets are a lot more consistent out of the tin than the CPHP's, it also depends on the choke in your barrel! MY U.K. Tomahawk in .22cal I have it re barreled years ago with a LOTHAR Walther barrel, the choke in that barrel is tight and will shoot any of the Crosman pellets out of the tin no matter how bad the head sizes are! and shoots them in the same hole!

I have many other brands of pellets to choose from, those were just the ones I shot that day. 
I shot those rifles again, later on, at 50 yards using JSB Jumbo Heavy pellets.

.177 cal Crosman Pointed pellets are what I shoot in the Stoeger S300C rifle.

I have found hat the crosman premier domed or hollow point pellets work acceptable enough across my air rifles that they are what I stock pile . They are minute of critter at the acceptable range of the gun. The only gun I have that doesn't shoot them well pushed the 177  in the mid 1140's   I would think a hatsan 125 in 177 would likely have the same problem  O.P thanks for the side by side comparison.

I have never seen and actually side by side comparison here in the GTA forum before.
I happen to have both rifles so I thought I would do it myself.
Someone else may have done it but I just have not seen it.

I live 1 1/2 miles from a small rural town.
The local Hardware store does not carry them.
There is a Walmart 20 miles away, they carry them in .177 cal only.
There is a Fleet Farm 35 miles away but I am not exactly sure what they carry.
