#91 of 2023 Crosman 100 Anniversary 362 Looks Good! Picture added...

#91 arrived today and it is very nice looking, and whole. I wasn't able to unbox it until later in the day because I was mowing like a madman.  My wife was due home around 5:30 and I only had enough time to look it over, stick it in a corner inside and take the boxes upstairs to hide.

I will do a closer inspection tomorrow, take some pictures, and hopefully shoot sit sme. First impression is it's LIGHT.  That's been reported plenty but it still struck as surprising. Much lighter than the Dragonfly MK2. Maybe I'll weigh it and my original "BB gun," a 1968 Crosman 760.  I haven't put hands on that one in a while so I could be way off on thinking the 362 isn't apreciably heavier.

But the happy part is it's a lovely looking little rifle and appears to be exactly as advertised.

I would think .. Most times no control over what number we get….Do serial numbers matter other than “Braggin rights’….I Like a higher  number hoping by then they got it right….lol…good luck

I doubt anyone at Crosman got arm-twisted to give up his rifle to me since I hadn't even unboxed #177 from Pyramyd Air and seen its defect.

As for serial numbers I don't much care unless it was #1 #2023.

I still intend to weigh the two of them. Despite my first impression the 760 doesn't weigh much as the 362.  But the 362 is still a very light and handy rifle. If I can remember where my fish scale might be I'll post their respective weights.

If you think about how they come off the assembly line, this first ones go on the bottom of the pallet. Then when they remove from the pallet to send to the vendors, they take off the top of the pallet to fill the orders. Then the vendor restacks them onto rack or just pulls them from the pallet to fill individual sales. So the number a buyer receives is pretty much random.

Absolutely.... plus I'm sure 2023 airguns didn't fit on one pallet.

This would make sense, but it was rumored Crosman had to make more to fill orders
