Anybody sell replacement stock for R9? I want a low comb.

Unfortunately, all the place that sell parts across the pond won't ship to anywhere but the U.K., so unless you can get AOA or PA to order you a stock well you know! your stuck with either refinishing what you have or buying a custom stock or hope someone has 1 lying around that's willing to sell that has upgraded their factory gun? way of the world!

Well he could keep the original and buy another one to modify, personally I think $249.99 for a beech stock is outrageous😬

It's too bad Boyd's or one of the other stock makers couldn't just put the original on a duplicator, at least then you could choose what wood you wanted, personally I think beech looks ugly as a mud fence regardless of how it's finished. Another way to put a finish on the stock would be to buy some crinckle coat spray paint, they make it in granite and several other colors >

They use beech because it's a cheap and plentiful hardwood much like we use birch here not because of its beauty. I would have no issues lowering the comb, but the finish on the wood afterwards would be less than I desire for the reasons I mentioned above, not because of the work I did to the stock.

Beech is a harder denser wood than Walnut.  Because of this, it is a better choice for airgun stocks where you want to stock to absorb as much of the vibration as possible.
Sure it is not as attractive...

All i know is *mine* is beautiful and i would not dare to alter it.  After a little plinking i think i will keep it scoped.  I’d love to get my hands on an HW95N.

And because they have tons of it and it's cheap, they make that same rifle with a walnut stock and charge $100 more for it. For as much as they charge for the stupid things all of them should come with walnut stocks in the first place!
