Crosman Parts (2250 build)

I was going to try to order some parts and see if I could put together a 2250.
Does anyone know roughly what they charge for the 2240 valve assembly? (Part 2250-03)

Sorry, don't know the cost, but I made a 2250 with an 18" barrel. It gets over 20 shots 10-11 ft/lbs on one cartridge. I use a peep/globe sight combo with a Buckrail silencer out front. It makes a fun shooting gallery gun. The only mods were a lighter sear spring and a Peter Nollan .170" transfer port and a drilled barrel port to .170". Forgot the power adjuster.

Truthfully, it was more fun when it was a Crosman Custom shop gun with the 14.6" Lothar Walther barrel. 1/2 " groups at 30 yards. 2-7x32 Hawke scope. Also had a GravMag 9s magazine installed. I made a homemade globe sight and used a Williams WGRS-54 Receiver Peep Sight at one point.

I ordered a bunch of parts the other day but the valve was $23.25 which I thought was in line for a complete brass valve. Maybe it’s gone up a bit.

jeez, it was 13 2 yrs ago when i ordered them.. Inflation is nuts

Finally got the valve, I tried unscrewing it to make sure the o rings had adequate oil but that thing was tight. You don’t get as much leverage since the 2nd half is just the very top section so I left it as is. Then I almost had it assembled but ended up wasting an hour fiddling around with that darn safety spring and ball bearing. Frustrating but I’ll have to dissemble and go at it from a different angle later.

Came out pretty good, keeping it basically stock with the peep sight for now, may file the front sight to a point. Shoots around 575-580 FPS in my limited chrony testing with CPHPs. It would be cool if Crosman brought it back to be more widely available or offered it in 177 caliber.

Difference between 2240 and 2250 - gas tube and forward end cap and barrel band.   Working parts are all the same.

Add forearm.

Change grips for 1399A001 skeleton stock.
