Quote from: aslap on April 30, 2024, 10:22:02 AMSince I was talking about my 2240 conversion, I thought I'd just post a pic of it. Really accurate and with a 1400 psig reg pressure I get 40 shots with a 14 grain pellet doing 900 fps. With a 21 grain slug, I get squeaky close to 30 FPE. I'm thinking about getting the Avenge X tactical and that's why I want to sell off the SafePac and the bottle.TonyThat's a cool setup. I was hoping for a decent shot count for plinking and roving, but the safepac isn't the solution I was looking for. I'm placing a parts order with Crosman, I'll order the appropriate parts to convert the 2240 to HPA. My fault it's gone wrong, I couldn't find any info before I bought it. Oh well, lesson learned. And I'll have a tinkering project for next winter, always a good thing

There just isn’t enough volume in the SafePac - even the long one for a 2260 tube - to get any kind of shot count. You need to use it as an adapter and feed it air from some external source.TonyI had misgivings when I saw how small the volume was, but I wouldn't know till I tried. Well, I tried, the carbine is going back to CO2. I'm not into shooting tethered, I'm not a bench shooter, so it won't work for me. I have a friend that is interested in messing with it, he can have it. I made an offer on a PRod and it was accepted, so there's my carbine. The 2240 carbine will be fine for plinking away some time. If it is the Prod I am thinking of you are going to love it It was on eBay. If that's the one, it's good to hear!👍
