What Head Size are the Baracuda Power's You use Thank's Franky
Nice!I'm a huge Marauder fan!I have a .25 Gen 2 SynRod.It has a Termidator Industries Chassis with a JSAR Balance valve and TSS setup along with their lightweight Super Hammer. On a 2600 psi fill it shoots JSB 33.95 MkII Heavies at 850 fps for 55 ft lbs.Any varmint that would be dumb enough to get hit by one of those Mk II Heavies in the boiler room at a reasonable distance, is in for a bad day!I get about 2 mags on a fill.
Then I’m done! Honest this time! If only because there isn’t anything left to upgrade. It has a huma regulator, full matched hill internals lighter hammer etc, upgraded hammer spring, regulator is set for a 50-60 shot count at approximately 35 ft lb energy. If I remember correctly. It’ll just stack dime sized groups at 50 yards like it’s no big deal. I imagine it’d do much better if I took the time to actually sort pellets.

When I was deciding on a tune I contacted Tim Hill because I was looking at his matched parts kits. He was quite helpful getting me pointed in the right direction, and had helpful suggestions for regulator settings and what parts could get me there. One thing I did was mark the regulator at two different set points for the two different tunes I planned on using) max shots 60, and “40 at 40” I just made some distinct scratches on the end corresponding with the regulator settings so I could use a long screwdriver to adjust it by just removing the fill cap (after degassing of course) this way you can pull the tube end and adjust it without pulling the regulator. Saving time and oring damage potential.I’m sure there’s others who can do the same thing, but that’s the route I took. A lot of aftermarket parts we read about on the forums aren’t around for this platform anymore- unfortunately, he’s still got his site up and going and I’m happy to support that.
I believe the marauder platform was too quickly disregarded due to the leaps and bounds the airgun world has made in the last three maybe four years. I have read a lot on the forums about people wishing they had never sold theirs. I took that to heart when I built mine. I have a 22 right now that will push 25 gr pellets 925 fps for 40 shots. That's not bad on a 215 cc tube. I'm also happy Tim is still around. He is a straight shooter. There's still a small list of outfits carrying aftermarket parts. And they are all good.
The Marauder was the very first repeatable PCP air rifle with a magazine. Up until the last few years, it has been the main choice financially for many. It was the one I chose to get into the PCP game with after failures with the local store-bought models.

The Turkish walnut stocks transformed these rifles aesthetically, but the platform itself is well engineered and reliable. Thanks for all of the replies fellas

Thanks for all of the replies fellasIn 2017, at the GTA Fun shoot in Ohio, I beat out lots of FX and other high-end guns with my measly .22 Marauder with synthetic stock and took first place. It was my first competition, and I wasn't even going to enter the comp because I was scared and intimidated by all the expensive guns there. It was also very windy up on the bluff. I got talked into competing, and it was free to enter, so nothing to lose. I couldn't believe I won, but I knew my Marauder was fairly accurate because I had put a lot of time and effort into it in my backyard. I still have the trophy and I bought a lightweight air tube for it with the cash prize. It's still on the gun.
