Has anyone mounted one of these on their R9? I know the factory sights are too low to be usable due to the high comb of the stock and I was wondering if the Williams peep eliminated this?

I didn't realize it when I made this thread, but there is a recent thread on this same topic and one of the posts mentioned it's quite a job overcoming the issue with the high comb, the person saying they had to make a special front sight block? Too much work for me! If I didn't care about aesthetics Id belt sand an inch off the comb.

I have the very same sight you are speaking of, on my HW35.
However that very same sight (Marked BEEMAN) started its life on my R1.
The R9 comb might be a bit higher but I wouldn’t worry about it.
R9 is shown above the R1 and HW35:
