No worries, it's not Boss and Rambo... I have a cement statue of a Boxer (yard ornament). He (yes, it's anatomically correct) $:-\$ will be set at the fence line with a target hanging from a collar around his neck.

VERY KOOL!!!! When is the inaugural match? 😁
We have a 25 station woodswalk at the club, we shoot muzzleloaders and 22lrs on it, along with air during the 22 events. It's a ton of fun and you have your own in your yard! Nice going!
Here's a couple ideas for the future:
One of the favorites, I made a spinner in the shape of a life size sparrow. Brings out the kid in us. Also fun is a snuff the candle target where the flame is a spinner. Too fun!

I'm just hoping it's some useless Chinese iron and not a vintage Griswold or Wagner Ware, but it sort of looks like it could be a Griswold which has me clenching my teeth.

Probably something I picked up at a second hand store. I have a few more laying around in the shop for future use. She has some great cast iron cookware she uses in the house and these are spares.

Betty Lou and I walked around the property scanning for materials to build the outdoor shooting deck for the north side of the red shed. I think we may have come up with a plan. For now it won't include a deck at all. Instead it will be another lean to using natural posts from trees on the property. I have an 8' wooden picnic table made of 2x6 that can be used as the roof frame. The roof will cover an area 111" wide by 8' out from the north wall of the shed. That will be plenty to cover a shooting bench and 2 chairs. The out of pocket expense with be the tin roof panels.... about $100.
I can build a deck under it later if we choose.
We've also decided to limit the shooting range to 40 yds and move all targets back inside the fenced area. I rarely shoot beyond 40 yds.

I thought my range was amazing, targets from 15 yards to 200, at least for distance, no where near the amount and variety, but shear awesomeness I bow down to you sir!!!!!

LOL... thanks. It's all about having fun. I've moved things around a bit and added a few more features. Think I'll just get out there and shoot some today, weather permitting, and put some more serious thought into the shed roof. The main thing is that it has to be budget friendly.

Reactive targets are my absolute favorite kind. Have you considered making a Rube Goldbergesque set of connected targets, each setting off another one if shot accurately? A less-than-perpetual-motion machine, but could be extremely gratifying to set off, and perfect for video documentation.

Sounds fun..
I have a few expired circular saw blades including one from my 10" chop saw. They "ring" really good when hung from trees and shot.
Heavy rains are predicted to move in within the next hour so I'm probably done for the day.

Thanks Terry. She's my buddy. We do everything together. She likes all outdoors stuff like I do. Fishing, camping, atvs in the mud, shooting and just sitting around the fire drinkin a cold one.
