POST ISOLATION

lets say i want to save a particular post in a thread, like post #5 but not the whole thread, how do you do this?
i tried clicking on the post number but i get the total post. i have do this on other forums,just to save one post.

If you have Microsoft Word or some other document program, open it. Go to the post you want to save, put your mouse cursor at the beginning of where you want to save, left click and drag to the end of what you want to save. This should have everything you want saved highlighted. Right mouse click and select copy. Go to your document and right click on it and select paste. Then you can save that document.
You can can also do an Alt-PrtSc, go to the document page and paste. That will save the whole view.
Let us know if that doesn't work.

i want to save the post as a bookmark in my browser.

Well THAT'S even easier.
Got to the page you want to save, click on Favorites tab (or Bookmark tab in Firefox) in the upper left of your screen. Select Add To Favorites and just save. Or create a new folder and title it something like GTA Posts or Airgun Stuff and save it in that folder.

EZ got it nailed. Bookmark and make a folder for it's use. Makes easier when needed in a pinch.
