Is it some sort of airgun stock?
Here are the photos.... First, assembled, grip slid into place.... the side screws fit great, extra hole for a bottom screw if you wish!.... The comb is located in line with the main tube, raising your eyeline to give a far better cheek weld (it was non-existent in the Crosman skeleton stock).... The bottom of the stock is straight, flat, and parallel with the bore so that it will not disturb the vertical POI when fired on bags.... This does place the butt higher than ideal, but the point fits into the hollow in your shoulder, just like on an AR....Next, all the parts that go into it.... The joiners are incredibly strong along their length, and are a slide fit and will be glued in place.... LoP is 14.5"....Here are the shape of the holes that the joiners slide into.... The joiners are printed horizontally for strength, the rest is printed vertically.... The shallow curve in the butt, being the last printed, ends up with horizontal steps for a "grippy" surface.... The scooped out recess in the brace behind the thumbhole is to clear your thumb.... The brace is to strengthen the thin area behind the trigger group and in front of the comb.... For a left hand stock, just print a mirror image of the front half!....The inletting took a long time and a lot of prototypes (in PLA) to perfect.... There is an extra mounting hole in the bottom, you can use the printed hole as a guide for drilling and tapping the bottom of the grip.... The stock fits the bottom half of a PRod /Disco 7/8" OD tube, and the recess extends about 30mm behind the end of the tube to allow room for an SSG.... The 9/16" hole behind that is to clear the moving rod of the SSG to allow cocking, and is 25mm deep.... No more getting pinched by the SSG when you fire the gun.... I also have a version with a narrower top recess to fit the 3/4" OD pumper size tubes (2289 / 1377 / 1322).... but haven't printed one yet....Bob
The ergonomics are good.... better for prone or bench than standing because of the higher butt, but much like an AR.... The cheek weld is FAR better than the Crosman skeleton stock from the 2289, which I have a half dozen of, some modified like this (shorter, with a higher comb, and an extra screw in the bottom of the pistol grip)....The original Crosman stock had a LoP of 15.75", which is just silly unless you have arms like a Chimpanzee!.... The comb on the original is 1.25" lower than on my new stock, again no cheek weld possible (maybe a "jaw" weld?".... The bottom of my comb is level with the top of the original.... Bob
