Where to get a bunch of mags for my fortitude

Loving this .177 fortitude. Getting tons of shots at 6-7 fpe for offhand birding.

I see myself taking this out and wanting to have a bunch of mags.  Anywhere to get them cheap?  I see synergis .177 12 shot mag 2 packs for very low price, but suspect they won't work and I need the 10 sho mags.

Anyhoo, point me in a cheap,mag direction please!

Umarex mags will work.
Beeman 1357 mags also work and I like them better than Benjamin and Crosman type mags.

I got some 1357, icon, avenger mags. They have been hit or miss for me. Sometimes loading the mag is a pain, sometimes they don't cycle too good. My 1357 ones were the best of the bunch for some reason. The avenger and icon ones were the misfits.

I am very pleased with the fortitude!

My pleasure is in part how well it fits a need. I was looking for a lightweight, offhand 50 ft shooter that gets lots of shots in .177. Got an Icon on sale. Got a Gamo Arrow, which did well until it broke. While the Arrow was away for repairs, saw the Fortitude in the classifieds. It's amazing. I get close to 200 shots at 9+ fpe in a lightweight gun that looks like a gun should. When the Arrow comes back, it's goin up for sale. I did like it. The stock is very nice and it gets 50 shots at 18+ fpe. It's no fortitude though.

Oh, and the fortitude is the same length as my D48 and they look great together in the gun closet. Same slings, both hawke 2-7 scopes. My birding pcp and my do all springer.

That delay on bringing the Fortitude to market put a foul taste in my mouth and I swore it off at first. But I'm really glad I got past that and bought one. IMO they took the best form the Maximus and the Marauder and put them into great package. It has the slim comfortable feel of the Maxi with the features we all like about the MRod.
I was able to find a beautiful Boyds rimfire stock in nutmeg laminate for a bout half price and the gold trigger blade that just add the tight bling.
I get 70+ shots at 700fps average.

I remember reading a post of yours about the stock and gun showing up on the classifieds within a similar timeframe.

Is yours a .22? That would make sense with the shot count.

Some basic changes to the trigger made it very nice. I can't understand why anyone would buy an icon when the fortitude is in a similar price range.

I noticed that the ES wasnkt great on the lowest power setting so I slowly increased the hammer spring until the ES shrunk. A little more than 1 turn in got me there and still a ton of shots.

I know the spitzkugeln pellets are not popular, but I find them to be pretty good below 700 fps inguns that also like cphps. I think the spitzkugeln engages the rifling more like a cphp than an ftt pellet. The fortitude stacks them at short range. My co2 pistols and my low power k98/d460 also like them.

Fingers crossed it likes them just like your other guns seem to. Pretty cool having your own supply.
