New to working on break barrel rifles. I am researching a PG4 Steel tune kit installation. Will a Air Venturi spring compression tool work on a Diana 350 Mag rifle? Still searching through threads and google looking for information. Any help is appreciated.- Scott
The short answer is yes, the AV spring compressor is strong enough for the D350. Otoh, may be pricey for a one time use. There is lots of information on GTA for diy spring compressors. For example check out the thread "Show Me Your Home Made Spring Compressor".In that thread is a spring compressor utilizing all thread and pvc pipe. It is a fugly thing based on the Air Venturi compressor. It is also the basis for my compressor which uses smaller all thread and pvc. My spring compressor works on a D460 (very close to your350 specs).Regardless of the type compressor you choose, you will likely need to fashion an adapter that buffers or clears the D350 safety when pressure is applied. The Diana safety is likely plastic. I attached a photo of an adapter I made for the D54.
