Those are some promising groups for an initial run after mods, especially at 50-yards   Very close to 1 MOA even on some.  Shifting winds can test your religion sometimes when wanting to put down tight groups.  I believe you'll get more MOA groups coming up.

I feel pretty happy with the results so far. I know some of it is no doubt on my end. During the shots in the last picture I could feel the wind change for each shot that went in a different spot. Especially during those two 1 in groups. If I was more patient I probably could have tightened the groups up but I had some errands to run so I was just running shots off somewhat quick.

You make a good point.  I dispatched 13 squirrels on the ground with headshots at a fix location between 80 and 85 yards over a three-day period using my .30 Impact and am still pumped about that even though this was over a year ago.

I guess the rabbit hole I've really started going down thanks to having access to machining and fabricating tools is building steel targets. At the rate I'm going to have to many to fit in my truck.

I need to find me a good squirrel hunting spot. Right now I just get the rare ground squirrel in my back yard. That or I need to invest in a thermal scope for some night time rabbit hunting.

Sometimes I wish I could just use things as they are, but I can never resist taring things apart. There's something to just keeping it factory though.

Fun fact I've found out from filling a few times. I get roughly one shot  for every one pump with my hand pump, more if I tune for efficiency.
