XS60C bolt question

Hello all. New member but long time fan of GTA. Still learning my way around the place. I recently purchased two SX60s from Flying Dragon,
a .177 and two weeks later a 22. Both guns shoot great and Mike is a pleasurer to deal with. In the last few days I've noticed the bolt handle on the .177 will jump up a bit when fired. It moves approximately half way up to the unlocked position. I don't feel like the gun is leaking air at the breech but the 22 has a more solid lock up. When unlocked there is more side to side movement of the bolt/probe than on with the 22. To be honest it may have been that way from the get go and I just didn't notice. If I turn the gun up side down and give it a little shake the bolt will fall to the unlocked position, not so on the 22. Wondering if any one else has noticed any thing like this. I did reach out to Mike earlier today but I thought I would ask here. I find that unless seat the pellets well with my finger the the bolt is hard closing. Crosman round nose or any thing that looks like them works fine but flat nose wad cutters not so much. I find that when the bolt is tuff to close its pretty much a guaranty that shot will be a flyer. Thanks for reading.

I get about a half inch of bolt flip with my .22. It's normal as far as I can tell.

My did it . The fix for me at that time was to use a bigger and heavier Qb78 bolt handle. Ordered one from eBay made from brass and wood. Still though if I turn the AG upside down it will come undone.

I Got an answer back from Mike at FD, if you pull the bolt back into the full cocked position, you can just see ( when looking through the cocking slot) a 2.5mm set screw on the flat spot on the bolt. I had to pull back against the bolt spring in order to get at it with an allen key. As per Mikes instructions I tightened the set screw a hair, being careful not to go too far and bind up the bolt. It made all the difference. Another thing I noticed is that its time to clean the gun. I hope this helps some one. Thanks for the replies.

Glad Mike got back to you, before I had a chance to mention the setscrew to adjust

I've only tried mine with two pellets so far, the first one was Winchester round nose 10.? grain but the bolt seemed to get stuck before it would close all the way and I did not want to rod it to inspect the pellet for damage so just chose another (CPHP).
I think I've got one other airgun that didn't like a particular pellet and was thinking it was normal. I may go looking for that set screw mentioned, is it loose when it causes this, or just not torqued?

I don't have that issue with ny .22 cal. I can turn it over and give it a good shake and the bolt remains in the closed position.

The set screw on mine was pretty snug. It takes a bit to get it to turn with the allen key. Didn't take much to make it start to get stiff so i backed it off a bit.
