Any y'all have a Gamo Arrow?
Nice wood stocked version out now.
Looks nice, but............is it a good gun?

That plastic cocking lever still scares me a little. I haven't heard reports on them breaking but I got real crappy luck.   
I have an Urban set in a wood Buccaneer stock so I think I can give the Arrow a pass.

Over the past year I've had a long string of plastic item breakage, from spring clamps to sports equipment to kitchen utensils to game calls - not because they were designed or manufactured wrong, but because the plastic in them had reached some sort of a best-before date, and it just chemically failed under normal use, leaving me in a bind.

Of course, with springers I've seen first hand how 30 - 60 year old synthetics hold up, but I'm not talking about stuff nearly that old above; more like 10 - 20 years, and well into well-researched plastics age.

As a result, I'm consciously weeding out plastic from my life. From where it matters and is feasible, of course. So, no plastic cocking arms for me.

Yeah, I can see that the word "lever" was misleading.. my bad.
But the actual "arrow" shaped cocking knob is what I was talking about.
That is what you pull on to cock the gun.
To be fair, I haven't of anyone having that issue yet but, there aren't alot of people who own them sharing their experience.

The last couple of days I have been reading- and seen a lot of reviews and tests about the Arrow...

Seems that people are overly enthusiastic about the Arrow platform. Including our own Rick Eutsler.

According to the reviews; the Arrow is true to the advertised power, has a high quality standard fit&finish, is accurate and delivers a lot of unregulated but constant shots. Trigger is great too. Plus very silent / backyard friendly.

So what is not too like ?

Planning to order one tomorrow !

I have 2. 1st was the black stocked version doing about 18 ft lbs of
energy. extremely accurate, mows down squirrels  easily at ,25 to 30 yards. Loved it so.much I bought its new big brother
,  all in hardwood stock, larger pump volume capacity. It does between 28 and 29 ft lbs energy. They are both single holers, extremely accurate once you pick out your correct pellet. Both mine love the jbs heavys. .
 The standard is a little easier to pump up with a hand pump, the classics wood stock version is little harder . for the price, get the classic version in the wooden furniture.

Using the 217-20 cast pellets or the 14.3 crosman the Arrow I have will keep 20 shots under a dime at 40 yards.

Simply love the gun , it is extremely quiet .

Plastic or not the one I have is stellar.

Have taken over 500 squirrel with this platform.
