Really nice, combined Birthday/Christmas present for my Brother. I told him about the Gamo Magnum Gr I bought from this gate; he thought it was cool but really wasn't interested.
He said if he was going to get a new air rifle it would be a PCP (he nor I have ever own one). I saw this on Bargain Gate and had him check it out. He thought it was a great price but said he's not as into air guns as he once was. (HE'S CHEAP!)

The price is unbelievable, and a nice introduction to PCP's it seems. Happy Birthday/Christmas Jamie!

Hmm... It just occurred to me that Crosman might be clearing the Icons out to make room for the 36xx pcps? Am I crazy for thinking this?

I texted the the sale info to a friend who is an avid powder burner shooter but is  thinking about getting into air guns.  He just answered and said he just ordered 1 for his "wife"lol!

Well... woke up and no air in the icon. Pumped it up close to 1000 and heard a leaking noise. Air coming out the barrel. Gotta call crosman tomorrow.

The gamo arrow also broke. Cock, pull trigger, nothin. Was shooting crosman 10.5s. There's a rattly sound inside it now too. Somethin broke. Gotta call PA tomorrow. Said 60 day money back guarantee. We're at day 35ish.

So that's 2 cheap rifles just bought, both broke. Get what you pay for I guess.

Try cocking and firing to seat the brand new valve seat ?

Also cock it to fill it. It may need more than 1k for the pressure on the poppet to over power the hammer spring.

+1 on cocking it. Fairly common for crosman/Benjamin guns. Hope you get it sorted out.

Tried cocking it. The air comes out so quickly 50 pumps barely gets me 1000. It's like a rowing race with a hand pump.

Yesterday this wasn't an issue.  Filled fine, no race, no leak.h Got only one (maybe 2? memory is a funny thing...) fills worth of shots before it was broken.

Must have leaked over night.
