I need a little advice on this compressor I need to change the oil and I was told it takes an ounce and a half of oil but what oil would be recommended Silicone oil or something like deep purple compressor oil and how do these compressors hold up are they any good this is new to me any help would be appreciated thank you

I run Royal Purple ISO 100, any ISO 100 synthetic oil for high pressure compressors will work.
Not sure if you have seen this video but may have some pointers.

Thank you Do you have any problems with moisture getting into your guns I just bought one of those big cylinder In-line filters with the charcoal Cotton and moisture absorbing beads off of eBay it does slow the full-time down quite a bit I just use it to fill my PCP guns up I’m wondering if that’s all the protection I need and I was told an ounce and a half of oil is all that was needed I don’t know if Everything I’m doing is right or not

You should be good to go, I have been using just the small cotton inline filter to get the final bit of moisture out, the design does a good job of mechanical removal as long as one bleeds of over extended fills such as 500+cc 4500 bottle guns.

On my large Tuxing tank filler there is a double filter on the system and I have it backed up with a large filter as you have done, little to no moisture makes it that far.
