Barra 1866 Junior?

Anyone have one of these little SSPs? I was a big fan of Charles the Backyard Plinker, and Riddict's channel fills that void since he passed away. He seems to like this little BB slinger. If I run across one anywhere locally, I'll probably have to buy it.

Thanks Bill! I'm a sucker for an SSP and one pump shouldn't put too much stress on the pump arm. If I can find one under $40, I will might give it a go.

I wanted one when they first came out, never saw one in person or held a Barra but they seemed cheaply made, but they sure look cool, The force is strong, must fight the force ..........

 Bought one for a gift a few years ago, I  liked it better then the 1866, the pump lever is plastic ,but solid enough. but the one I tested was a great 10m plinker / casual target gun.

Did they switch them from metal to plastic or something ?

I have no concerns about the pump arm strength, but the angle of the butt plate is the worst thing ever that I can't keep shouldered to save my life.

I'll have to take a closer look but if it is metal, it's the weakest piece of metal I've seen.
I've seen folks complain about the butt stock slipping off their shoulder. I didn't notice that much.

that's it James, you beat me to it!! 18 bb spring magazine, not a six shot revolver. Wonder if my Tractor supply has them?

TSC has them now in clearance for 45$ (the revolver), and 40 for the junior... it deserved its own review.

I wonder if Plasti-coat paint would stick. I want a Junior but I'm not a fan of the gold look.

If memory serves, the elbow at the end of the cocking arm is a weak point side to side with the leverage of the cocking arm. Despite the arm being metal, that side to side slop concerns me when pumping the full size.

Haven't shot the junior. Following with curiosity.

The junior is a ssp not a multi pumper like the 1866 full size
So no prob with lever
