Who is RWS?  They used to import Dianas, no longer.
Is it now part of a private equity company empire?  Other than pellets, lock-down scope mounts, perhaps a scope or two...What else is still branded RWS?

Boy do they make  alot of .177 pellets that I have never heard of.  Maybe they are not imported?  The .22 wadcutters come a million head sizes, .177 too.

I have had good luck with the .22 cal Superfield pellets, which have a much more domed profile than the Superdomes.  Hard to find in the US though.

I was going to mention the Super Fields as an option but none of my .22 shoot them as well as the H&N F.T.T.'s

I have had good luck with the .22 cal Superfield pellets, which have a much more domed profile than the Superdomes.  Hard to find in the US though.

Some people have claimed that the Norma Golden Trophy pellets are just RWS Superfields rebranded. The weight is the same, and appearance seem same/similar. No empirical evidence to prove this though. Same parent company too. Just incase this helps on the hunt for superfield.

 Over the Holidays I bought a 4 pack of the .22 Golden Trophy FTT, one tin of the 15.9 gr and three tins of the Heavy 17.6 gr FTT The 200 ct tins of the 17.6gr Heavy pellets are screw top and do not say made in Germany, the one 250 ct tin of the Heavy I received is a pull off top that looks just like the tin my other RWS pellets come in and says Made in Germany in small print in the black area above and to the right of the Golden Trophy FTT printing. On opening these pellets they look fabulous, but they're under sized and just fall into my R9's chamber. They shoot so so but certainly nothing to write home about and their claim of "twice the knockdown power" in my opinion is at best optimistic.
I have two unopened blister packs of the 17.6 gr Heavy FTT that I think I'm going to give my buddy as a just because gift. I can't complain too much I got these on sale at Pyramid Air for $9.99 + shipping and I had enough Bullseye Bucks to pay for the pellets so all I paid was the shipping LOL I hope this helps somebody take care guys👍

I'm not sure how to answer the OP's question, but I absolutely love my .22 R9, it's a perfect balance of power somewhere inbetween that of my RWS 34 .177 and my Diana .22 350 Magnum.  It shoots the RWS Super H Points like they were made for it and I'm gaining a lot of respect for these pellets after shooting a few small game animals with them. I've body shot squirrels out to 30 yards and they just pole axe them.
