It's been too long...

So there hadn't been much of any activity in my yard the past few days but two days ago I happened to see a squirrel stealing seed out of one of the feeders in my front yard.  I immediatly grabbed the iron sighted Gamo Whisper DX and loaded a Gamo Hunter.  I snuck outside and got the little guy in my sights but missed high.  Upset with myself I headed back into the house.  To my suprise as I'm looking back out the window the squirrel came back for more. This time I wasn't messing around so I grabbed my Cometa Fusion Black in .177 which has a Simmons 4-12 sighted in for 25 yards.  The shot was at about 12 yards so I guessed on the placement and pulled the trigger.  Another miss.  Now I was perturbed thinking I wouldn't get another try at him but to my suprise he was back in about ten minutes.  This time I was really not messing around so I grabbed the RWS 48 in .22 and headed outside.  The Barska 4-12 has mil-dots and I know exactly which mil to place my target on at various ranges.  Put the critters head in the scope on the 2nd mil down and squeezed the trigger.  The H&N FTT went zipping through his head and left a bloody mess on my ground.  Finally got the little bugger though

The Diana out of the 3 did the job.  Good thing you had backup rifles, hehehe.   Good shooting.
