DavidI think one gate just dedicated to the use of BB's/BB guns would be good. No need for sub-gates by brand, vintage or powerplant. Just a place to isolate bb's from scattering all over the forum within other gates. I only question if it would reduce traffic within the Daisy gate, since the bulk of Daisy's are BB guns (but all BB guns aren't Daisy's...). Also would like to determine if lead .177 round balls are considered BB's, or if just steel shot (or similar like Dust devils or smart shot) measuring up to .177cal is allowed. Hybrid larger-than-4.5mm bearing shooters probably should be excluded. Unsure of where sub-caliber (i.e. 2mm to 4mm) "BB" builds even fall, if ever presented within the forum.

I don't think there would be any issues with other calibers of actual airguns.
One gate.. no airsoft. If I'm not mistaken, if larger than .177 they are considered round balls.I think BBs earned their name from their size. Each gate has specific rules posted for that gate. The same would be defined and posted for the BB Gun Gate.
