I have several sweetgum trees in my yard too. They usually make for some awesome plinking, but we had a late frost this Spring and I don't have a single one of the spiny devils to shoot at this year.

Pine cones and beverage cans with the Daisy model 25. Nothing takes me back to my childhood like that combo does.

U saw a pic of my Daisy wall,so u know how I feel about them….but one of my most fun shooters is a daisy 74 with a tasco shotgun scope ….very accurate and a great can chaser….good luck

don't think they made the 74 long enough!   I've never seen one, and bet they are fun.

Talk about memory lane -- this reminded me that somewhere I have a C<redacted>n model 73. 
Co2, lever action, smoothbore.  BB repeater or single pellet.  Sized for a kid but looked like so much fun I had to have one.  I wonder how it groups with BBs...?  I wonder where I put it...

I havent shot paper, but out 16-20 feet pretty good on a hangin can….u have a line of hanging cans its just like your own gallery …semi auto is a hoot…..good luck

The Tac45 is the gem that I forgot I owned. I'm going to spend some time accurizing it. It seems to be pretty stingy on co2 usage so I'm not going to mess with the power.

Yeah, I was told it gets nearly 200 shot on a cart. I have 2 21 shot mags for it.

One of the things on my "get around to" list is setting up a carnival type shooting range. Balloons on a board, knock down the ducks, lolly pops and shoot out the star.

I powder coated some BBs several years ago for some project I can't recall. I dropped one down the shot tube of the Tac45 and it was a good fit. Here's a magazine full of them at 5 paces shot offhand.

Accuracy is definitely better with the larger diameter. I can powder coat a bunch of BBs in a batch so my quest for a more accurate Tac45 might be over.


It seems like this thread is generating some decent interest, so maybe a more general bb gate is warranted? It would make these posts easier to find for sure.
