Anyone feeding low pressure N2 to their GX compressor?

Been reading some posts online about feeding 10-15 psi N2 to the inlet of the GX CS1 (or any other) compressor and not having to worry about moisture, and a couple other benefits. Seems N2 is slightly faster fps, and you no longer need special moisture filters, so a bit faster fill.
The post show adding a 1/2" fitting to the handle/inlet of the CS2 and feeding it a steady ~10 psi. So since I do a/c work, I added a 1/2"x3/8"male flare to the handle of one of my CS2's and I can hook up a N2 tank with regular a/c hose and give it a go. I'll have some time in a few days to give it a try. Seems a 40 cu/ft N2 tank @ ~2200 psi will give around 30 fills for a ~250cc rifle cylinder.
Any thoughts, opinions or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Been around this forum for more than 10 years and to be honest I don't remember anyone showing positive proof of personal failure due to moisture in their gun. I'm sure you can find anything you want on the internet but I'm talking about personal experiences from our members.
I live in the hot and humid lower Alabama back woods and all I use is tampon style inline filters. I have never seen damage inside any of my guns due to moisture.

You make a good point. I have used the common moisture filters on my compressor, and having just opened three of my rifles cylinders, they showed not a single sign of any moisture damage.
I guess I was just thinking of going the N2 route since I had it available, but maybe you're right, it's just not a major concern.

Yeah, this can be a pricey hobby/sport and maybe we tend to over protect.
I do support using a drop of silicone oil in the QD of my probes or guns from time to time. I think it's enough to keep the orings and inner workings of my guns in good shape.
