Can a collectible airgun that has been assembled out of all version correct NOS parts be considered as a "new" airgun??

It was never sold as a new unit by any entity, but is made of new, unused components...

I think on eBay that would qualify as "new other".  At the very least it is an unused airgun.  To me new is completely unused from the factory so you're kind of pushing a fine point.

If you are describing it as a for sale item I would think it best to just give a full description of how the gun was made. A one word description such as new or unused just doesn't tell the story.

If it was a power burner I think they would classify it as excellent original condition.
