Diana 34 rear sight.

I have a rear sight that has a sight carrier that will not come back from left to right... the opposite work, but it will not come back unless you push it manually. anyone knows what may cause this?

My guess without looking at it is a stripped adjustment screw.  You'd probably have to dismantle it to be sure.  It has click detents so there is probably a spring and tiny ball bearings in there.  Cleaning and lubrication may fix it but disassembly is probably required.  I would do this over a white or light colored towel due to the tiny parts.

Thomas gave excellent advice. Take it off and spray it with some type of aerosol cleaner and relive it some. What vintage is your Diana34 Lily? TW Chambers gunspares is my go to websight for parts replacement. JGAirguns may have a sight in stock too.
