I was very surprised by the quality of my diana 34 ems synthetic stock and hope to see similar ones on other guns.

What they’re saying is the synthetic stock is a better quality, kinda like the stock used on the original avenger Bullpup which I’ve had and the stock felt solid not hollow. Pa made a great comparison video of the new and old avenger which is worth a look. I think there’s enough upgrades to be worth getting for sure it can be a nice field gun with a ton of shots

A gun I've been tempted by for a while is the gamo arrow in .177. You have one don't you? How is the synthetic stock and how has the gun worked out?

The urban syn stock had a good reputation and I saw a PA video saying it is similar. Never shot an urban myself.

I sold it for no apparent reason because that’s just what I do lol. Guess the benefit of that is at least I can say I’ve tried everything. The gun was actually very well built. I did have the .177. I didn’t do a thing to it and it shot the CPHP pellets really well. The trigger was nice and the stock was really ergonomic and solid.  I love the fact that it had a male foster fitting although you’d want to use a qd made for like a fx impact because it sits a bit inside the stock. It was quiet too and the price was perfect for a field gun. I like guns with small tanks so I can hand pump if I need to easily or use a small guppy tank. You can’t go wrong with the arrow.

It is upgraded, one piece, is non gloss/reflective and affords excellent gripping properties.

Basically what you are getting is a very well designed and proven basic platform with around 3 years on hands on evaluation and improvement and you get at minimum
a very easy $1,000.00 worth of gun for $550.00. That is a Very realistic evaluation that is if anything, low balling.
At heart a hunter the traditionally stocked model with a 500 mil. barrel would be my pick. Light, compact and easy to handle in thick cover.
