HW35 E

All right dudes you all know this story. I swear honey I didn’t mean it. I took a friend of mine to AOA today. He wanted to purchase a new springer. I had zero intentions of a purchase, then there it was with the most beautiful blueing and darkest walnut stock I’ve ever seen. Yep an HW35E walnut and in .22 well, I couldn’t just leave it there, especially with the guys at AOA being such nice folks and all. I guess I’ll be grounded for a week, good thing I have a huge supply of pellets and some Tin cans for the back yard range .

Once again, congrats Bob. Mine is in 177. Took awhile before the actions screws would settle in and not need tightening every session, but now that it has settled in and been shot a bunch, my 35E is the smoothest cocking of all my HW break barrels. Really is a pleasure to shoot.

These are phenomenal guns, blend of old skool charm and accuracy. Saw a post where you said you have a few other airguns. If they’re break barrels be sure you remember to push the latch on the HW35 when breaking open to load. I forgot a couple times when I first got mine and tapped it open like a normal break barrel. If you bend the latch it could affect lockup. I have to look and remember which gun I’m shooting ha ha.

Funny. I have done the same when I got my first 35. I shoot it and the new .177 so much that sometimes when I shoot my HW30, my thumb automatically slides down the stock to press the 35 locking arm that doesn’t exists only to realize I’m shooting the 30 and not the 35’s.  🤦‍♂️
The HW35 is the epitome of what a truely classic breakbarrel springer is in every way. Solid build and accurate with just the right amount of power.

Yeah Robert,
When I visited the Gilbert, AZ shop in 2016 I was amazed how much the Weihrauch Springers seemed like well built rifles vs. a Crosman pellet gun.
Also walked out with a HW35E and have never purchased anything (Springer) other than a Weihrauch .
