Lead Sensitive Shooters: Beeman Coated Pellets = Less Cotact With Lead

Hi.
For those of us who are sensitive to too much lead contact, or just want to avoid it, the Beeman coated pellets reduce direct lead dust contact.
Thanks,
Matthew

I find them fairly accurate also 880;s and the like , lower power springers, target pistols etc. domed HP and wadcutter.

Seems to be a powder coating, of sorts.

I think I read somewhere that the coating is graphite based.
I have shot a lot of the .177 HP. The coating doesn't wear off on your fingers or load up the barrel. They shoot well enough but don't like to go too fast.
I bought a bunch of them when they were $5/500. Now they're over $10.
I'm not concerned about lead; I bought them because they were cheap.
If you are sensitive to lead levels, these pellets offer the performance of lead without resorting to expensive and inaccurate alloy pellets.

Twelve springers and a couple of pumpers.
Two lathes and lots of scrap metal.

Some of us prefer a more colorful coating.
