Barrel thread/recrown service

I bought a Diana 34 T06 Classic off eBay that has a slightly upward bow in the barrel.

Once it's delivered I'll inspect how bad the bow is, but I was thinking, just chop it and hopefully it's good to go.

Who is the go-to for this service?

It has a choked barrel so the choke should be added, too.  The upward bend is indicative of allowing the barrel to snap closed during the cocking process.  You can rebend it if you wish.  The library here shows you how to make a tool to do that.  Or you can just return it for one which possibly has not been damaged.  In any case, John Thomas is worth considering.  He also goes by John in PA.

John in PA can cut, thread and choke a barrel.  I believe he has a machinist friend of his do this work.

Guy, by “bow” in the barrel, do you mean it has an arced curve over the length of the barrel itself, or is the barrel relatively straight but bent upward at the breech block? If the latter, you may chock the breech block in a padded table vise and try to straighten the barrel with a length of pipe. Of course you’d want to pad the barrel as well.
Since you mentioned threading the barrel, I would assume you plan to add a pickle for noise reduction. While some folks swear they reduce the report of the gun, most of the noise comes from the action anyways. To me it is a moot point adding something like a silencer that will soften the report at such a small percentage. The Diana 34 is a great gun  with a fine Meyer&Grammelshpacher made barrel,  so you may try to straighten the barrel first and see how well she shoots before you try any alterations to the factory barrel. jmho Best of Luck!!!

I should have been more specific.  I contacted a bunch of PB smiths and the prices quoted were $135-210.  Wait time 3 months-2 years.
Not sure what you do if the bore is not concentric with the barrel OD?

Yogi, OC based all of his work off the live center of the bore, also keep in mind air gun barrels for the most part are mild steel, the hardest barrels I've seen for air guns steel wise are the LW barrels, OC also made his own pilots to fit individual bore diameters
