My motto is don't let friends buy Gamos, but if I were to recommend one this would be it.
None of them.I've owned three different models now. Two were rams and one was a springer. None were magnums. The only one that was even remotely pleasant to shoot and accurate enough to be interesting was the Wildcat Whisper in .22. It had an unfortunate shortcoming in that it only seemed to like wadcutter pellets so it did not fit the purpose for which I bought it, which was to be a long(er) range hunter. My experience with the Swarm system was very bad. Get a single-shot version if you must get a Gamo.I have heard good reviews about their CF-X being a cut above the rest of their lineup in quality and accuracy. It is an underlever and only comes in .177. It doesn't fit the parameters for how I would want to use it so I haven't tried it for myself. If you can afford a nice PCP why on earth are you now looking at a Gamo?! If you want a springer then save yourself a ton of trouble and get a Weihrauch or Air Arms!

I’ll stay away from Gamo
Surprised to hear a Benjamin NP being much easier to cock than a D48, given that my D48 was by far the easiest springer to cock for its power. But we're all different. Lest we're talking about the cocking sequence, and not the cocking effort.
Mind blown, Dinh! But really, I don't know any dedicated sidelever Diana shooter who found their gun three times harder to cock than a gasram breakbarrel.
I would recommend the Benjamin Trail series. I've owned two NP2, one in .177 and one in .22, for a number of years now, and they both still shoot great! Never had any issues with either one, and they are very accurate once you figure out a proper hold. The stock trigger is merely acceptable, but you can get a $10 kit off eBay that greatly improves it.If you've got the funds though, go German. I have a +20yo Diana 48, and the quality of the material over the Benjamin is huge!Ironically though, I shoot the Trails way, way more than the 48. The Trails are lighter and much easier to cock, making it a more pleasant experience for longer shooting sessions.

It has a longer screw for lower break weight, if memory serves. Shape of the trigger isn't great though. The charlie triggers seem tough to get reliably lately.
I have to say, got a lot of b19 and b22 (benjis and crosmans) that i have tuned within an inch of their lives, and so far, they are not comparable to the gamo fusion in .22 (swarm gen 2) i got from a friend). its quieter, more powerful and acceptably accurate with the pellets I CHOSE to shoot through it, if not incredibly accurate with it's favorite ammo.
