What entry level PCPs beat higher price point competitors?

I have a couple high end pcps, the one in my collection that would hang with them was the Benjamin Cayden, nice smooth cocking, decent trigger and very accurate, paid $410 on sale, ended up selling it for what I paid for it.  I think they are around $600 new nowadays.

But.. I thought I would throw this out for consideration.. Years ago.. Regulated pcp's were all high end priced.. I started with a Hatsan AT-44 short in 22 cal..unregulated..

It was $399..what an amazing new world of fun.. After getting hooked on cheap Walmart break barrels.. The profound accuracy of a pcp.. Blew me away..

Now a days.. I try to buy ''Like New'' used guns..
Picked up a perfect used Dreamline.. Then a wood stocked Avenger in 25 cal also same as new condition.. BEST 300 I have spent in this sport..

Recently acquired another like new Hatsan Invader Semi Auto.. like new with a new case with the tags still attached $300

So the moral of the story is.. Watch those classifieds..

But the extended moral is.. buy an Avenger for the most accurate pcp in the market $350 or under..

However.. If you can stretch another $150.. Then grab a new Avenge-x.. I have one on pre-order.. and waiting another agonizing couple more weeks.. Waiting for that to arrive..

Re-reading the thread title, I am not sure that the Notos beats higher price point competitors.  More like it comes close, at a much lower price point.

The Notos is hard to beat, when it comes to meeting or exceeding expectations.  So I gather from many user reports, because I don't have one.  Yet.

Great point!  The Notos is "sorta" similar to my Leshiy Classic, sizewise.  I concur it comes as similar with a far lower price point.

I may end up buying a Notos, since I am a \SPA fan.  However, I've yet to find any PCP that can punch at the same level as my Leshiy Classic once factoring all the reasons I bought my Leshiy.

Leishy keeps asking me “is it time to go?” Like every 5 minutes. Should not have told her we’re going hunting soon she’s worst then my 5 year old. Had a Notos, sold it because Leishy does it all at a much more compact package.

I would love to own a Leishy someday but it's probably not going to happen because I have too many other hobby interests. I'll probably just continue pretending my .25 Bandit bottle carbine is my poor man's version. I'm not sure how much power I could get out of it but I know from others that it's capable of way more than the 19 fpe I'm getting with my 40 grain wadcutter slugs. It might not be as polished, but it sure is fun.

The funny thing is that the guns that people used to call "high end" are now treated as meh, while the "high end" airguns are IMHO more like "ridiculous, irresponsible" end.  Of course, if you have the means and the desire, by all means go for it. 

But I have a couple of Daystate HRXLs and an AAS510 that I bought used and, collectively, still cost me less than one new "ridiculous end" gun.  I guess you have to start by defining where your line is.
