I spent more time yesterday picking up brass at the range than shooting. 3 shots from my Hammer, and then more air. My benji compressor used to do this in about 7 minutes, the last fill was at least 15. I think it needs a rebuild or just junking so I may pick one of these up. The benji is SO LOUD!

Do you happen to know what voltage is really being put out when it is pumping? Any idea on the current draw? I'd need to move my battery system over from the benji to operate at the range, no power in the rifle area.

Which Benji do you have?  Here are some pictures comparing the size to the ReCharge and 2nd Gen Traveler:

I don't know the power draw, but it does have a 350W motor and it's really quiet compared to bot Benjis!

The CS-4 is slightly heavier than the Traveler, but much lighter than the ReCharge!

If you were closer, I'd make you a heck of a deal on the ReCharge, I replaced it with the CS-4 and it's just collecting dust now!

Hope I didn't make a mistake, Amazon has this for $599.99 and there was a mystery coupon for another $35 off. This brought it down to $610 to my door. Not sold by GX so I hope it will be OK.

Dimensions listed were very similar to my benji, so it will fit the toolbox after I figure out the battery mod. Wish they would have used a connector for the power input, going to need to hack the cable off to fit the batteries. That will need to wait a bit to make sure it works.

(edit) tell me the benji and the recharge aren't both made by Warrior!

It would have been cheaper direct with the 10% off code.  When I bought mine, GX Pumps was not charging sales tax, Amazon does, so depending upon you sales tax rate, it might be a even more saving over buying from Amazon.

Also, there is a member here who ordered from Amazon because he wanted the warranty.  It took returing 2 or 3 of them befor he got the right one and one that worked.  I've not heard of anyone having this problem who ordered direct from GX Pumps.  Not saying your screwed up, just an FYI based on posts I've seen here...

They will get one chance to be right, if it's wrong or not working I'll ask for a refund and buy from GX. I was going to use PayPal on the GX site, they will handle the tax too so either way I'd be stuck for the tax.

The reviews seem to be decent and from real users, only a single vine shill, hopefully I'll be OK. There have been several with problems, but most have been quickly remedied.

FYI  I read that some of these have an issue with the grease pot - a rubber piece can slip and block the hole the grease is supposed to flow through so turning the screw may not actually result in any grease being pushed into the mechanism. 

I bring this up because it seems like something that could be easy to miss until there is some kind of lube issue. I don’t know how common this is.

I saw that on AGN, one person was going to make an aluminum disc with a small hole it it as a replacement, it will be interesting to see how well that works. Another just removed the rubber disc and is using it without it!  It says it’s not leaking. I just wonder if that rubber disc is supposed to stop the grease from entering the compressor between grease cycles and by removing or replacing it it will cause an excess amount of grease to eventually make its way into the compressor. To me, the better solution would be to find a rubber disc that is not affected by the grease, which seems to be what’s happening!  I have been told to use a food grade silicone grease in it, so it would have to be a material that would not degrade or deform when in contact with the grease.
